
Deaf theatre creatives will be featured in NTID‘s upcoming run of performances in Rochester, New York and streamed online. Tickets are $7 for each performance.
From Rob Roth: Deaf Play Creators Festival 2022 features Plumb Crazy Pipe Dream by Aimee Chou and Pushing Buttons by Robert Roth. Chou and Roth were selected to expand their scripts for DPCF during the 2021 MAP-Deaf Theatre 10-Minute Play Festival. Plumb Crazy Pipe Dream was produced as a 10-minute play by Deaf Spotlight. Pushing Buttons was produced as a 10-minute play by Deaf Austin Theatre.

Danny McDougall, PhD, CSC — “Dr. Danny” — owns and manages TerpTheatre. Since 1986, he has interpreted in hundreds of plays, musicals and other performances on stage – most in the shadowed style. He teaches and lectures on the theory and practice of theatre interpreting. Danny is the chair of Sign Language Studies at Madonna University, and holds a PhD in Translation and Interpretation from Heriot-Watt University – where his dissertation explored the relationship between space and meaning during interpreted theatre performances.
